Mindful Leadership: The Claremont Core is a new, 6-week certificate offered at Claremont Lincoln University. Personal, professional, and civic success depends on skills that reach across traditional barriers of ideology, culture, economics and faith. Mindful Collaboration for Change Leadership supports the participant’s self-empowerment and marketability with rigorous skill-building by way of learning and applying self-empowerment practices and methods. Participants will expand their experience and knowledge with the attainment of competencies that support a purposeful and inclusive approach to real-life environments and relationships. This certificate addresses elements that employers list as crucial for success: collaboration, dialogue, mindfulness, and change.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate personal, professional, and social agility in serving multiple perspectives through dialogue and collaboration.
- Negotiate agreements for mutual gain and drive conflict resolution.
- Achieve constructive results in complex and dynamic situations.
- Apply key critical thinking skills, evaluate real-world problems, and implement successful solutions.
- Practice the ethics of the Golden Rule as compassionate and transformative leaders.
